No need to pinch the wicks with your fingers anymore! Save the mess and use a wick trimmer to keep your candles burning longer and safer! 

It is important to know a candle wick should be trimmed BEFORE EVERY TIME you light your candle.  Through the natural process of burning a candle, carbon will build upon the wick - this is normal.  

If you do not trim your candle wick before lighting the carbon will keep building on the wick and produce a larger than intended flame while burning.  Larger flames will burn hotter, adding a potential to make your candle unsafe.  In addition, untrimmed candle wicks will burn faster.  Trimming your candle wick allows for a slower burn, giving you longer enjoyment of your candle.  

We recommend trimming your candle wick to 1/8"-1/4" each time before lighting.  Always follow the instructions on a candle and its packaging before lighting a candle.
